Blending Banking, Design, and Café Culture
In 2024, a major U.S. bank - Capital One - partnered with Ritual Coffee - a popular West Coast coffee brand - to create a new kind of customer experience: a banking service inside a high-design café environment. Guests can sit, work, and enjoy coffee in a space so inviting, they may forget they’re in a bank. For this setting, B+N designed a custom iPhone demo display fixture that allows customers to test mobile apps in a real-world, retail-inspired environment.
Secure Power and Protection
A closer look at the fixture reveals the components that keep four iPhones powered and protected throughout the day. At its core is a concealed rechargeable battery system that provides continuous operation without the need for visible external cords. Each phone is mounted on a specialized security tether with an integrated alarm, ensuring devices remain safe even in high-traffic retail environments. If tampering or removal is attempted, the alarm is triggered immediately, adding a critical layer of protection.
