  SEPHORA - RETAIL SYSTEM
Using a tailored version of the B+N wall panel system, the design interprets the standard Sephora store into a modular system based on a repeating kit of parts. Consisting of extruded aluminum wall uprights that hold formed steel back panels, indexed pins that hold the workhorse shelves and standard modules for product displays. The allows for the use of key graphics to define and simplify the retail space. Connector free electrification adds light where you need it. Effortlessly.

Shown here is the backbone of the system, an aluminum upright with indexing pins and a low voltage electrical conductor channel. Panels simply clip onto the pins, while shelves j-slot on for weight bearing capacities. Integrated onto shelves and cabinets are electrical conducting spring clips. These clips supply power to the low-voltage LED light wands and panels built into the shelves, connecting without the need for manual wire connections. Shelves light up with connected, simple as that.

Connecting to the wall uprights are power transformers, decorative panels and illuminated shelf kits

A detail view of the modular shelf build kit, various vendors would develop inserts that would sit on the standard shelf frame. Trays risers, bins and surface panels would all take advantage of the available 24v power provided by the poles.

Step by step typical wall build process.  Once uprights are screwed to the structural wall, all other attachments proceed without the use of tools or tape measures.

Decorative panel surface treatments attach to the steel panels via magnets, while larger display items attach directly to the uprights by way of the pins and j-slot system.
